DESCRIPTION:Join the Memphis Midsouth DSA as we welcome members and supporters for an afternoon of climbing and camaraderie! \nOn Sunday\, April 13 from 2 – 4 p.m.\, our chapter will be holding a climbing social at Memphis Rox \nWhat will we be doing? \n\nWe are kicking off this ongoing opportunity for members and supporters of the chapter to socialize and build community while tackling climbing challenges together\nThis first hangout will be guided by chapter members with climbing experience\, with a focus on bouldering – learn how to safely fall and downclimb\n\n  \nHow much does this even cost? \n\nThe MMDSA chapter will cover entry for the first 20 attendees. Additional attendees will follow the pay-what-you-can expectations of Memphis Rox\n\nWhat should I wear to climb? \n\nComfortable exercise clothes with stretch so you can reach for your next hold – if possible\, wear red! You will be asked to wear climbing shoes that can be borrowed from Memphis Rox if you do not have a pair\n\nDo I need to be an experienced climber? \n\nNot at all!\n\nCan I bring a friend? What if they’re not a member? \n\nWe would love to welcome any and all “DSA-curious” attendees to learn more about the chapter\, vent about the state of the world\, and build connections to your fellow lefties.
