Memphis Public Library Workers United is fighting to have library workers reclassified as civil service employees with the same protections afforded to other civil servants in the city. They are also attempting to have a 1984 executive order repealed that removed their right to collective bargaining. Join us as we raise awareness for their campaign by speaking with members of the community at Cooper Young Fest and letting them know how they can help in this fight.
