Our Regional Organizer from DSA National is coming to Memphis on Saturday, May 17 at RP Tracks to provide us with two vital trainings that will push our organizing skills to the next level. You may attend either or both of these sessions to help build your organizing skills:
How to Canvass: 11 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Want to learn how to speak from the people instead of for them? Want to build your political organizing skillset? Then you want to learn how to canvass! Having a cohort of trained canvassers will make our efforts and alliances in Memphis that much stronger.
Intro to Powermapping: 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Turning ideas into actions, this organizing skill helps you understand the landscape of your activism. Whether it’s your workplace or the whole city of Memphis, learn how to map out your networks and figure out who to focus on to move your organizing efforts forward!
